How was everyone's Christmas? I hope that y'all had a great one. Mine was awesome. I think the best part was going to church Christmas day. It was good to focus on what Christmas is really about, the birth of Jesus. Our youth pastor's wife opened the service singing "Breath of Heaven". That song gives me goosebumps. What did Mary think and feel as she and Joseph were on their way to Bethlehem? I've wondered that a few times after hearing that song. Then after a couple more songs, we observed the Lord's Supper. That was something to make you stop and think on Christmas day. We focus on the baby in a manger at Christmas time, but to stop and reflect on what that baby came to earth to do. I think it's something we don't focus on enough during this time of year.

Next week is a new year. WOW! Time flies. What's everyone's plans for New Years?

1) I only sleep 4 hours a night. If I sleep longer I feel awful the next day.
2) My fondest memory is listening to Led Zeppelin with my dad when I was 4.
3) I love my car but it hates me.
4) I'm not a morning person. I must have 2 cups of coffee if I'm to make any sense at all.
5) I've never truly been in love. (well except for Jesus that is)

Father God, You are so good and faithful if only my words were adequate enough to describe You. So many words fill my mind. Holy. Love. Omnipotent. Omniscent. Creator. Lord of lords. King of kings. My God. My Jesus. My Saviour. Sovreign Lord. These words don't even begin to portray who You are. I want to shout and sing of Your glory. I pray my praises are pleasing to You. Holy Holy Holy is the Lord God Almighty. The whole earth is filled with His glory!

I fall to my knees and give You my life, all that I have. Here I am, Lord. Send me!
